Project Updates

We have really been enjoying our new offices here in Lakeway for a few months now. I wanted to update the blog with some new projects.

This was a custom completed in the U.T. Golf subdivision of Steiner Ranch. See our website for more pictures of this home.

This is a home in Belvedere that was recently completed. More of a Hill Country Contemporary style.

We are moving!!

Just to give everyone an update on our company we are currently in the process of moving offices. Our new address will be 107 r.r. 620 s., suite 201, Austin, Texas 78734. Those of you familiar with the Lakeway area will know where the China Pacific Restaurant is. We are in the same complex on the second floor. We won't be officially there until May 1st but will be moving in the meantime. Stop by and check out the new space if you get a chance. We will have about 1,400 s.f. of our own space.

The Bluffs at Steiner Ranch

Our Steiner Ranch home located in the Bluffs is coming along well. The exterior is pretty much complete and they are currently finishing out the interior.

We had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients on this home in Rough Hollow. It was an extremly tricky lot with amazing views. Rollo Homes built this one and did a great job. If you are in Rough Hollow, Lakeway stop by and take a look at this one as well as our 2008 Parade Home just around the corner.

South Austin Model

We have done some "upper end production" home designs for Scott Felder Homes. Recently they completed their model which we designed. We did a series of plans for them ranging from the mid 3,000 s.f. to the high 5,000 s.f. If you ever find yourself in the Bear Creek area (South Brodie Dr.) stop by and check out the home. I believe they have about 4 other specs. under construction.

Steiner Ranch

Steiner Ranch had been a very busy neighborhood for us as well. We have one house complete in the UT Golf Course and this one pictured in the bluffs. We are also working on two other designs in the bluffs, both with Lake Views. Our Company is also involved with developing plans for Scott Felder Homes that will be Built in the Fairways at Steiner Ranch. Be looking for a model home to be coming soon.

Lake Homes

DVA has quite a few homes that either are or will be under construction on either Lake Travis or Lake Austin. This is one located in the Hudson Bend area on Lake Travis. The lower portion of this 3-story home sits within the 100 yr. floodplain so it had to be designed in a way that it could withstand water. It is a beautiful home with amazing lake views.

This is a lot that one of our builders has, again in the Hudson Bend area. It sits on the main body of Lake Travis with amazing views North. This lot had an existing home that had to be torn down. The home will be about 8,000 s.f. and will feature a courtyard, guest casita, detached garage apartment, wine room and just about anything you could dream of to put in an 8,000 s.f. home.

Hello All!  I was thinking about how little we update our website and how I'm sure you are all curious to know what Design Visions was up to.  What I want to accomplish is to keep everyone informed with what we have going on.  What kind of homes we are designing, photos of projects under construction, and any and all feedback from clients.  We are looking to create a fully interactive design firm for the people we work for.  Most of these pictures won't be pretty, they will be progress photos.  We want you guys to know that we are a very active firm with a lot going on.  I figured this was the best way to keep you all updated.  Enjoy!
